Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) is committed to fostering innovation and supporting entrepreneurial efforts, thus creating a favorable environment for entrepreneurship. To develop an international ecosystem for cultivating innovation and entrepreneurship talent and further promote Taiwan as a destination for outstanding foreign entrepreneurs and professionals, Taiwan Tech Innovation Incubator (Tii) has planned and launched the &#8220;Global Talent Entrepreneurship Program&#8221; (GTEP, hereinafter referred to as &#8220;the Program&#8221;) starting in 2022. Designed primarily for foreign students in Taiwan, the Program provides professional entrepreneurship training courses and a platform for publishing results, with the goal of nurturing high-caliber foreign entrepreneurial teams. twenty-three teams have successfully completed the training to date. The Program will be expanded in 2024 to invite outstanding young entrepreneurial teams from NTUST&#8217;s international sister schools and partner incubators to Taiwan to compete in the Demo Day International Competition. In 2026, GTEP-selected teams will compete against these international entrepreneurial teams, with the aim of stimulating diverse innovative thinking through mutual exchanges, promoting creative sparks from diverse cultural backgrounds, and further enhancing the sophistication and internationalization of Taiwan&#8217;s overall entrepreneurial ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>B. Teams can freely express their creativity including technology applications or innovative services, as long as the proposal meets innovation, commercial feasibility, future feasibility, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>III<\/strong>. Application Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. At least half of the entrepreneurial team\u2019s members must be foreign students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. At least one member of the entrepreneurial team must currently be either a university student or a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>recent graduate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Developed products, services, and business models must incorporate innovative elements, with no<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>industry restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. The entrepreneurial team must have the intent to establish a company, or have already established<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>one. The team must plan to put out products onto the market for sale and conduct business model<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>validation, market development, and fundraising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Teams that have been awarded prizes from the Program are ineligible to re-register with the same<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>core concept\/technology (as determined by the Evaluation Committee).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>IV. Timeline<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program is held once a year, and each training period lasts from May to November (approximately<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6 months). Important dates are as follows. Develop a complete business plan and participate in the Demo Day International Competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Receive consultation or submit a team progress report once a month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Attend the Program\u2019s required counseling activities, media promotion events and interviews, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>research seminars, as well as provide the results of entrepreneurial work to be used in other related<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>activities for sharing and education purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. All team members must comply with relevant Co-Working Space management regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Teams must provide entrepreneurship data. This data will only be used to analyze the program<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>report, and not for any other purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>VI.<\/strong><\/strong> <strong>Prizes and Application Principles for Allocation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Prizes<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2605<strong>Prize money for preliminary selected teams: <\/strong>Teams selected for the preliminary stage will each be awarded NT$10,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: Teams must fulfill the &#8220;Duties of Preliminary Selected Teams,&#8221; in particular, including: Prize eligibility requires monthly consulting meetings or progress reports, and full participation in the Demo Day International Competition. All prizes will be awarded after Demo Day to ensure full team participation and demonstration of entrepreneurial achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2605<strong>Demo Day International Competition prizes: <\/strong>Teams winning the International Competition can collect both the preliminary selection prize and the International Competition prize, the amount of which will be determined and announced separately by the organizer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Allocation principles<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(1) Teams must provide the necessary remittance information within one week following the Demo<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Day International Competition. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of the prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(2) The Program&#8217;s prize payments will be disbursed to the remittance account provided by each<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>team within 2 months of the Demo Day International Competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>VII<\/strong>.Conditions for Disqualification and Prize Refund<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stationed teams&#8217; principal business activities must be consistent with their approved Business Plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any team participating in this competition that provides false or forged registration information, or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>otherwise violates the Program regulations or any applicable laws or regulations, shall be subject to<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>disqualification. In such event, the organizer reserves the right to revoke selection, entry, and award<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>qualifications, and to require the refund of any prize money. The affected team shall have no right<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>to contest such action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>VIII<\/strong><\/strong>. <strong>Others<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any matters not covered here may be revised and announced by the organizer. The same shall apply<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>to any amendments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>C.
